Karl Malden Explained For All You Young Folk

Karl Malden Explained For All You Young Folk

Streets of San Francisco was a great show. Maybe because it was set in a great place. Imagine Karl Malden got on that show when he was 60. Imagine his understudies were Michael Douglas and Richard "Apollo" Hatch. Only in the 70s were there geriatric good guys like Karl Malden and Buddy Ebsen that struck fear in young whippersnappers.

Karl Malden played real life coach Herb Brooks. I can't believe I am the only one who remembers that.

I bought On The Waterfront last year and I will eventually watch it. I am really bad that way.

I saved the best for last. Malden co starred in Patton. A film that won six Oscars in 1970. Here is a scene where his character delivers news the arrogant Patton does not want to hear.
