The Red Sox beat Tampa Bay with a score of 2-0 . Most casual viewers of sports will look at that score and say not much scoring must be boring. And they would be wrong.
Baseball's drama comes from observing pitching and what hitters do to pitching and how defense helps out pitching. Specially in the post season. In my estimate 85% of how a post season game turns out depends on a starting pitcher. Figure that out and a low scoring game can be a very entertaining game.
And look how the Red Sox scored. Not with fireworks but with fundamentals. The Rays pitched and played well too but Game 1 goes to the Red Sox.
